The Chico Air Museum collects, preserves, documents and displays aircraft, and aviation and space artifacts. The museum’s primary purpose is to educate and inspire people of all ages about aviation and the history of flight. ​

With the effort needed to support the victims of the devastating fire in Butte County, many CAM volunteer staff members are either directly affected, or involved in the recovery effort. The Museum will be remain closed with hopes to re-open  Friday, November 23rd, (the day after Thanksgiving).
